3. I will admit it was a decent looking breakfast bar, but only one other couple came down while we were there and it hardly seemed like a $30 breakfast for us.

4. Kids have brown envelopes asking you to donate to sports, etc. The breakfast bar at TGIF's is saturated in cool butter and all foods items are as cold as the milk.

9. Memphis is quite a wonderful city to visit and the Doubletree downtown is within quick walking distance of not only Beale Street but the restaurant and bar laden Main Street as well as the river front.

10. We were there in the beginning of January, which is apparently the slow season, because bars closed pretty early (midnight on Monday), and there weren't many people out and about.
