1. The trolley station is a 2 block walk (the area does look a little iffy, but we never had a problem) and it goes directly downtown to the mall and Beale street.

6. if you`re looking to spend your time drinking on beale street, stay more walking distance to downtown, but for access to both downtown and midtown, it`s not a bad choice.
