1. Just stayed two days so was fine for my needs there was a bus stop on the corner to go to such places as Santa Monica, Venice Beach on big blue bus.

3. The free pick and breakfast is great and you can see some great sites like manhatten beach by catching the Trolley for $2.00 return.

5. my favourite 99cents store was just down the road, a Halal Malaysia restaurant just about 10minutes away, cheap car wash nearby, and it being mid-way to Hollywood, Anaheim, San Diego, Long Beach, makes traveling easy.

6. Also handy for other sout/west LA locations such as Long Beach, Redondo Beach, Venice Beach (mad and tacky, but good fune, and only about 5 miles), Santa Monica etc..

7. Overall it's a great hotel and value, there's not much of interest nearby besides the airport; but it's 10 minutes from Manhattan and other beaches.

8. heh!for a retired couple with patience - the price is right ' took the $5 return bus down to Manhattan beach - had o great meal at the brewery restaurant- walk the beach -had a good breakfast- staff was great- certainly we will return - but it's not to everyones liking- staff were great.

9. Make sure you flag the pick up car* $12 taxi fare to the hotel* Breakfast closes at 9am sharp* The Ocean Express - you can hop on/off to Manhattan Beach & Manhattan Village for only $5 round trip.

10. Can take the blue bus to Santa Monica, or private bus to Manhattan Beach if you have time for a quick look, or take blue bus to rapid train station if you want to go further afield, but it is not really a good location to be based for a few days.
