3. The only downside is that due to its location, the restaurant and bar are very quiet with no atmosphere but Manhattan Beach is just a short drive away with a lovely beach, and great restaurants and bars.

4. Housekeeping has some rather inconsistent policies for a hotel that bills itself as eco-conscious/green; constantly replacing my soap bar after one use, changing my sheets and towels when I specifically requested them not to and failing to restock shampoo, coffee, sweetner etc..
