2. The staff are superb, from the mandatory valet parking (18+taxes a day) guys to the reception and the other staff everyone was friendly and helpful, but what really makes this hotel is the location.

8. So if you're driving into the Farmer's Daughter, either take advantage of the valet parking (currently about $18/day), or get familiar with the neighborhood and try to find street parking (but beware of street-sweeping exclusions!).

10. To complement the hotel amenities: a fine restaurant called Tart, with a pleasant open courtyard; a swimming pool too small to be useful: and obligatory valet parking, not strictly necessary given the layout of the hotel, but always quick and friendly.
