1. My wife and I were travelling to Fort Myers Beach, and had planned to stay the night before arrival, in the Jacksonville area.

6. It seems to attract larger groups, such as families (there were several there the weekend we were there) and once you get past the Matrix that is the office park, it is an easy commute (15 min) to the beach, the Landing or the zoo.
