When I arrived at the hotel, I met the general
manager
, Chris, who was very attentive; and Juan, the operations
manager
, who made a couple of appearances at our Friday banquet just to make sure everything was going well.

Beyond that, when the first of us checked in to the smoking room, we came back to the front desk and were assured by the

that while 1 person was in a smoking room, the other 2 that were coming in later had non-smoking rooms reserved and ready.
