1. The desk clerk recommended an all-night diner just across the highway and my friend and I walked over--not too sketchy an area for two twenty-something girls to walk alone in late at night.

3. This is a pretty good place to stay if you're going to be there for one night because it's about 10 minutes to the airport (they have a shuttle) and it's right next to the Sam Houston highway.
