1. if I had paid full price for the hotel, I don't think I would've felt I had received good value for money because the age of the place does shine through, but I didn't pay a lot so I'm delighted with my stay.

9. There are many hotel options in Houston - keep looking - the Hilton and Intercontinental are close by - we have stayed at both - value for money and quality etc..
