1. ) While I'm sure that my room wasn't typical, all rooms should meet the same high standard associated with the Hilton brand, and I couldn't recommend it to anyone expecting a consistent high level of quality.

Cabs are NOT easy to get in downtown Detroit and they are expensive (you can easily get a cab FROM the hotel to where ever you are going, hard to get a cab BACK, Detroit is not NY, Chicago or Las Vegas) So I would recommend this Hilton, as again, you can walk to Greektown, and it's right across the street from the Stadiums.
