4. The property is very well located right by the 16th street mall, and is quite acceptable if you are expecting a spacious, 'renovated some time ago' room with a good bed, a spacious bathroom with a lot of counter space, and in our case, a good price too.

6. My wife and I stayed the night before in Blackhawk in a room half the price at the Ameristar and were very impressed.

7. The rooms were nice, staff were great, but for the price, there were way more perks at other hotels - for example, no bath robe in the room, no newspapers at the door, and expensive in-room wireless.

9. The one in the room has pressure sensitive things inside for exorbitant prices - if you open the fridge and lift up an item, it is charged to your room.
