6. I chalk this up to following previous reviewers' advice: get a room 1) on the side of the highways instead of the train tracks, 2) not near the elevators, and 3) above floor 6 or so if you're near the atrium.

The roads immediately around the Hyatt Regency are a little confusing, but the fact is that it's right off the highway and at the same time, right on the edge of downtown, walking distance to the West End eateries and right next to the light trail to venture to other parts, so though slightly remote for a downtown location, it still has some big wins.

8. My husband found the distance from other attractions (sans stroller, and with the train station closed for refurbishments) difficult during the day, and consequently my family spent most of their time in the rather sparsely decorated, but functional, pool deck overlooking the highway.
