1. There isn't any shopping or dining within walking distance, unless you want to shop at the Family Dollar across the street.

9. Because of events related to the State Fair and the football game (Texas Longhorns now ranked #1!), we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but we did walk the grounds and ate at the Cliff Restaurant next door.

10. The porch was not connected to the room by a door, you had to exit the room and walk around to the porch which I found very odd.
