After a long flight from Australia we found the Belmont check in staff to be welcoming and efficient, and appreciated that the directions given from DFW were easy to follow (even on the 'wrong' side of the road!)It was convenient to have a store right across the road to stock up on snacks and water etc.We enjoyed a drink in the bar area and ate at Smoke.

2. Upon entering the lobby and approaching the desk for check-in, the clerk turned her back to us and began a conversation with another person in the back office.

3. Many of the rooms have excellent views of the Dallas skyline, it's worth asking for at booking or check-in.

4. The only thing I would change is the very surly check in staff - not sure why they are so dreary and rude - perhaps they think its cool to be rude.

5. You will check in and since some of the rooms are located in different areas the Valet will drop you off with their golf cart.
