Even though I stayed there on a Priceline rate, the check-in clerk very nicely accommodated my request for a high-floor king-bed room away from the elevator, and consequently I ended up on one of two of the hotel's Starwood Preferred Guest floors -- which unfortunately appear, here at least, to offer no additional perks such as free newspapers or breakfast or a private lounge area.

Generally speaking I'm 'all-business' when traveling - park/arrive, check-in (polite, speedy, and loyalty knowledgement is good; this plus either an acknowledgement of an attempted but unsuccessful upgrade/I'm sorry or un-asked for but presented upgrade as a platinum [both say we are trying and are well appreciated] is even better); gym time, maybe room service, sleep, maybe breakfast room service, check-out and then usually out the door' This hotel delivers on this.
