1. We found out taxis in the Dallas area cost double what they do in New Orleans.

5. Valet parking is 20.00 per night but there isn't really a need for valet since there is a parking garage right across street that costs 4.

6. Parking became a hassle because I was not aware of the cost or the rules; I found out that since I was a state employee that my valet was free, at least back in Feb 2010 but I don't know about now since I hear management has now changed everything.

7. I would recommend valet, rather than the parking garage across the street because valet was $20 a day and we could come and go as many times as necessary, where self-parking in the garage cost $12 dollars, each time you left and returned.

9. Probably the only criticism we would have about this hotel was that beers in the bar cost $6, which we found a little high.

10. It costs about $5 in/out (or $10 depending on the cashier's mood!) and it was never even close to being full when we stayed.
