1. I paid less than half of what my friend paid for a fancy downtown hotel, and I had free parking, free wireless internet and free continental breakfast.

3. Once we learned more about Cleveland (on our later two trips) we found that there are some very nice hotels in the area (including downtown) and that there are really good options of places to stay.
