1. With all the services of a big, expensive hotel, the Hotel 140 offers clean, well-designed rooms with everything but glitz and size.

2. They stored my luggage on my check out day while I went sightseeing in Boston which was much appreciated - they had a ticket system which was very efficient and indicates that they do this routinely which is an excellent service.

6. Don't waste time or $$$ on the terrible, expensive food in the Hotel 140's 'grill room'--there's a Starbucks 1/2 block away, & plenty of coffee bars, pastry shops, full-service restaurants & fast-food places within a few blocks.

7. The decor is simple and modern, the front desk service friendly and helpful, and there's a cafe for breakfast cooked to order (handy on the morning it rained).

9. The helpful manager there met me on the curb as I pulled up outside, saving my from having to park illegally - there's good service and then there's the 'delighters' like that.
