1. The Boston Crosstown and the Cambridge Hampton Inns both have buffet breakfast, amazingly comfortable beds and decent prices (in winter anyway), the differences being:1) Parking is free in Cambridge (one car only, two cars not allowed at all) whereas it is $25 per car (more than one car allowed) in Boston.

2. You definitely need a car to get around since the closest T stop is several city blocks away, but there's an Enterprise that shares the parking garage with them, so pretty convenient.

3. Good parking set up as well for a city based hotel, with the deck right across the street and no valet to bother with.

4. The hotel also offers shuttle service to and from major city destinations which is pretty convenient otherwise parking and cab fares would've made a major hole in any traveler's wallet.

7. In staying true to their 100% satisfied guarantee, they comped one night of our stay and our parking fee for the evening, to apologize for the inconvenience.

9. Parking was extra but this is Boston after all and you pay premium for parking just about everwhere in that city.

10. There is a CVS pharmacy up two blocks from the hotel's parking area to the north, so this was convenient for snacks and medical needs.
