3. A real neighborhood restaurant, with good plain food (I decided I would call my meal brunch, and ordered a gyro -- it was great!) Had a brief and cheerful language lesson, so now I can wish folks Merry Christmas in Greek.

10. I arrived late on a Friday night after a long flight - the reception staff David and John were welcoming and friendly with great dinner suggestions, sending me to nearby Tremont Street for delicious and inexpensive food, and had the chance to make the most of Boston restaurant week.
