1. The rooms are comfortable with charming federalist period decor (a lot of the rooms have four poster beds).

6. Dinner at Meli (adjacent to the hotel) was nice, trendy young waiters dressed in black shirts and pants, nice modern yet warm decor, and a small but adequate menu of chicken, fish and meat entrees.
