The hotel staff were super-efficient, from the Valet Parking to the Front Desk Clerk who explained everything and provided us with lots of friendly advice on where to go, what to see, etc.The Tapas restaurant attached to the Hotel was great for lunch, but there are literally dozens of great bars and restaurants nearby, along with some boutique shopping.

The hotel shuttle makes it easy and cheap to get to Hopkins or to the Inner Harbor, but another option is the Water Taxi which stops right outside the door of the hotel and takes you to the Inner Harbor ($10 per adult and you can ride as many times as you want that day-- plus you get a book of good coupons for restaurants and bars in the Harbor and Fells Point).
