4. I recommend self parking in the garage across from the hotel -- it's less than half the price of the valet and it's barely a 2-minute walk.

5. So, if I visit Baltimore again, I probably would sleep outside of the downtown and sleep in motel with free parking and free internet but have rental car to go around.

9. While I was there, Billy Idol performed at Pier Six and the concert could be easily heard and seen by sitting just outside the Marriott (free, without the hassle of parking).
