1. The little casino next to the lobby was a great place to play slots or sit at the bar between convention hours and dinner time, with happy hour pricing from 5-7 or something like that.

3. Lobby and elevators may give you reason to pause as they are very dated; however, the corridors and rooms are clean with the appearance of new carpet, paint and wallpaper.

Among the features I liked were: (1) a big room, (2) a huge dresser with 6 large drawers, (3) instant hot water at any time of day or night, (4) refigerator, (5) recliner, (6) free wi-fi, which worked fine in my room and was even stronger in the lobby, (7) dual bedstands in a single-bed room, (8) a convenient covered parking area for guests, right behind the hotel just a few steps from the lobby, (8) ice machines on alternate floors, and (9) a free Wall Street Journal delivered to my door every morning.
