1. The pool was quite small compared to the 'attraction pools' at other hotels, but the sauna/spa was free and all of the staff were very pleasant.

The only downsides were that the internet was not complimentary ($12.99/night), the pool was closed for maintenance, and there was a $10 resort fee that provided no value to us (but might to others: two free bottles of water, access to the gym/spa/sauna, free phone calls, free incoming faxes, and access to the (non-working) pool).

It was peaceful, but still had a great little casino downstairs, happy hour in the evenings with free beer and wine (which was a blast!), free use of the hotel spa, which includes SEPERATE steam rooms, saunas, showers for men and for women, and the pool area is small but such a blast, with private cabanas, a hot tub, and a bar, all overlooking a portion of the strip from the 2nd floor.
