1. After we unpacked, we went up to the pool on the roof (38th floor) and although the pool area was small (compared to the Hilton across the street which is huge), it was fine.

3. Just hop on the duce [double decker bus] that takes you up and down the strip and to Fremont street for a small flat fee good for on and off as many times as you want during a 24 hour period.

4. We literally walked everywhere on the strip, just walk across the street to Planet Hollywood which is one of the best places to go anyway.

6. We also found Fitgeralds down on Fremont had a great steak lunch that included their large salad bar for about $12; and 4 Queens (also on Fremont Street), upstairs cafe had a wonderful Hawaiian steak with rice and eggs (sounds odd, but it was really good) for about $10.

8. On with the good stuff, the chateau is in a great location 2 min walk from the strip, across the street from the new City Center.

9. The Miracle Mile store across the street has an ABC convenience store which is just a tiny bit less expensive, and the hotel provides a shuttle daily to a local grocery store.
