1. Between the kitchen and BBQ grills, there is little reason to go to the restaurants, which can range from reasonable to over the top.
"Delightful stay at Desert Rose " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/2/2012 Vote
2. The staff was very helpful for planning trips, recommending restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen accommodations in the room were perfect for quick breakfasts or lunches, drinks, etc. We were there for 7 nights, so eating out every meal, every day can be tedious, especially with kids.
"Desert Rose is an oasis! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/26/2012 Vote
3. We ate twice at the hotel & twice at a local diner called Coco's (check that restaurant out; it's great!) I was so happy with this hotel, that I hate to complain about anything.
"Great Family resort " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/9/2012 Vote
4. There is no casino which we loved, but It is an easy walk to all the casinos and restaurants and it's a great place to come back to.
"An Oasis in the Desert " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/28/2012 Vote
5. We only picked up a couple of necessities there because we liked trying the different restaurants in town but we had a fridge to store leftovers when our eyes were bigger than our stomachs.

6. Tip-nearby 'Coco's' Bakery Restaurant is a great little place for meals.

7. Its not in the middle of all the action but is about a 5-10 minute walk to the strip down by the Tropicana, and right next door to Hooters which has the great Mad Onion restaurant.
"Excellent place to stay in Vegas! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/13/2012 Vote
8. The hotel is basic when compared to all the big-name hotels but you can spend as much time as you want in the fancy hotels, enjoying the shows, casinos and restaurants (we spent plenty of time at the wonderful Bellagio, seeing a show and having a couple of meals).
"Peace and Quiet away from The Strip - and Great Value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/20/2012 Vote
9. You get a complimentary breakfast which is not bad (no restaurant in hotel), there is a wonderful place to eat though if you don't mind walking for 5 minutes.
