1. I see immense potential for this hotel apartments, they have kept the property clean, i kind of liked staying in a 70's theme hotel, but to cover the age of the facility will need serious investment.

4. Allandale is pretty much the only neighborhood-located central north Austin hotel, but just a short jaunt (about 1 mile) north there is a rather nice Holiday Inn (though admittedly akward to get to), and another mile north of that a Hampton Inn that they have stayed at in the past and loved.
