5. We immediately reported this to the manager at the front desk, who was polite enough but did not seem concerned about the situation and said she would sent up housekeeping, who NEVER EVEN CAME that night.

9. A letter after the fact to the hotel produced a well intentioned email from the manager but absolutely nothing that attempted to compensate us for a ruined weekend.
