Initially my sister preferred to accommodate family in hotels downtown Austin but the prices quoted were $200/nt+ and could not compare to the 2 min drive and convenience of this new hotel which had granite countertops and a modern design with many FREE amenities not offered at many high end hotels.

8. My room has many amenities -- generous sized flat screen tv (maybe 30'?) with 70ish cable channels, a DVD player, and DVD movies in the lobby.

9. No, this isn't a luxury hotel, but it's certainly a lot better than just a place to rest your head, a great balance of amenities, location and value.
