1. There is an IHOP restaurant right next door, as well as several other restaurants within walking distance just down the street.

2. Be sure to check out the excellent deserts at Millie's across the street from Disneyland, which is only a 20-minute casual walk from the Red Lion.

3. We took this hotel's Fireworks View package, although we figured out pretty quickly that the fireworks experience is the best from Disneyland's Main Street.

5. I was 5th floor street side in South tower, with a limited view of the Disney fireworks and you did not really hear much street noise.

6. There are also a couple of convenience stores across the street (well, more of kitty-corner from the hotel) that have snacks and other necessities should a need arise.

7. No night life within the hotel (across the street at the Sheraton there is) but depending on your lifestyle this may be okay.

8. But if you are going at rush time, say 8:30 a.m., you can walk across the street to the Sheraton, which is the first stop for the #6 bus (which then goes to the Hilton, then Clarion, before lopping around to the Red Lion).
