5. Check in was efficient and friendly, we got a room upgrade and 10% discount card for restaurant (which we didn't use ) by being in their loyalty scheme so that is worth considering.

8. Not only were the beds miserable, but the wall paper was peeling in the bathroom and unlike other Holiday Inns, this one offers no free breakfast, just a 20% discount in their own restaurant.
