Talking to staff was difficult which came as a surprise, most staff it seems have english as a secong language, maid staff didn't speak english at all, ask for extra towels and got a blank look and reply 'no speak english', had this problems in non english speaking countries, never in an english speaking country.

6. Front desk spent 2 hours searching our rooms for the toy (also annoying), and finally refunded us the price of the toy since we had the receipt, but they seemed completely unconcerned that their maid was a thief & had entered our room without permission.

7. I HAD CASH TAKEN FROM MY SUITCASE - I had put 2 $50 bills in my checkbook in the front of my suitcase that was taken by the maid or someone from the hotel.

8. I kept my room clean myself and only had the maid in once, but she was friendly each morning when I asked for fresh towels.
