1. We have previously stayed at Embassy Suites, Best Western Park Place Inn & Suites, Residence Inn & Suites, and the Disneyland Resort hotels.

3. Anyway, they were the only whinges and not big deals, so rated this hotel (which from Australia is really a motel as cars park outside rooms) very good due to it's location, shuttle and reasonable sized rooms, which suited us and they were clean and presentable.

6. Since my mom, my 17 yr old son and I travel together a lot, we usually stay at Embassy Suites so there`s plenty of room, but we wanted something closer to Disneyland this time and decided to stay at the Candy Cane in a premium room.

Again, the front line staff was very accomodating and friendly when checking out ( even asked what the penalites if any prior to changing, but the Manager started yelling, slamming his hands on the counter when we wouldnt accept his offer-which never had a price tag-then tried to charge us $50 to check out on top of the $150 a night rate)If you are looking for a very close hotel to Disney-choose the anaheim plaza hotel and suites-its actually closer to disney.

10. We would not stay here again but enjoy where we usually stay which costs the same, has full breakfast and omelettes to order and suite style with a bedroom, living room and kitchenette.
