It is not a new hotel, and the JB's Restaurant had recently closed, making breakfast in the hotel or across the freeway at Embassy

It is pricier than other more luxurious places around town (embassy

s, holiday inn, etc) , but competative if you get the internet rate.

and the '$5 plastic chairs on the balcony'- she should have looked a little closer at the Embassy
Suite
s across the road (which is where I was staying when I discovered the Plaza).

The rooms have been redecorated, the buildings painted, they actually match the EMBASSY SUITES across Intersate 25!(Cute trick).
