3. We picked the Plaza Inn out of a New Mexico travel booklet from the New Mexico Visitor`s Center - the pictures in the ad looked nice and the amenities (the pool, DVD library, hot breakfast) sounded good, so we got 2 rooms for $47 per night.

Aside from this, I appreciated the indoor pool (although I did not swim in it because it was crowded with children), the availability of a continental breakfast, the size and amenities of the room (private outdoor deck with view of a tree, large real wood table, iron and ironing board, comfortable bed, and quiet (I was on the second floor).
