1. It is a very small fraction (perhaps a quarter) of the cost of the downtown options and so, to me at least, it seems logical that you should have proportionate expectations.

4. The floors creaked, the windows had no screens, the wood (doorways and trim) was splintered and warped, no ac unit (there was a heat wave when we went and it was horribly hot), and parking cost an extra $12 per night (it was across the street and down two blocks through a seedy neighborhood past the bus stop and behind a chain-link fence).

5. My only complaint is the parking - it was 1 1/2 blocks from the hotel down a dirty ally (and costs $12 per night).
