1. Couldn't get out of 1st night booked - but we paid the $15 fee for getting out of the 2nd night we had reserved.
"Not as advertised! Dirty, worn and in disrepair! Don't believe the photos on the website! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/1/2009 Vote
2. Internet is an extra $5 for the full stay - is speedy (unlike the snail-paced free internet at the chain hotels.

4. How can you beat a queen room with private bath (gorgeous new tile) and expanded continental breakfast, in a nice, safe part of the city, for $99 a night? This is the kind of B and B we have stayed in all over Europe and it is good value.

7. My only complaint is the parking - it was 1 1/2 blocks from the hotel down a dirty ally (and costs $12 per night).
"Something different " Read full review on Expedia   9/4/2008 Vote
8. The only plus side of this hotel is that it is pretty close to Fisherman's Wharf/the Presidio/the beach but was I willing to give up a bathroom to save a dollar or two? I didn't even save that much money, I ended up paying an extra $35 plus 14% tax a night and the added $12 a day.
"Worst hotel ever! " Read full review on Expedia   9/3/2008 Vote
9. The floors creaked, the windows had no screens, the wood (doorways and trim) was splintered and warped, no ac unit (there was a heat wave when we went and it was horribly hot), and parking cost an extra $12 per night (it was across the street and down two blocks through a seedy neighborhood past the bus stop and behind a chain-link fence).
"Worst hotel ever! " Read full review on Expedia   9/3/2008 Vote
10. Seriously why would you rate a <$100 hotel at the standard of a $200+ hotel.
"Safe, Cheap, Quiet..... Nice " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/15/2008 Vote
