1. We didn't spend much time in the hotel itself but it was a great base to explore San Francisco from - walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf area if you want the touristy stuff and 0-2 blocks from 3 or 4 excellent bus routes into downtown and out towards the Golden Gate bridge.
