4. I would recommend this hotel to the budget conscious traveller who doesn't mind a bit of riff raff around the streets, after all it always makes for a good story later ;).

5. Definitely recommend travellers staying here buy a MUNI pass as you can catch the busses and street cars back to the corner of 7th and Market.

7. Being on the ground level, as we were, is something I would definitely not recommend - particularly if you're stuck with noisy people above you.

8. But like other people have suggested I would recommend asking for a room in the hotel proper as we had someone knock on the door in the middle of the night wanting to meet up with someone they had met on the internet.
