1. The small refrigerator for leftovers was a plus which far outweighed the short walk to the bathroom (which had a great shower).

2. We stayed here on a big trip around the US and wanted somewhere in the heart of San Fran, we basically wanted to just rock up park the hire car and walk around for two days and this is exactly what this hotel allowed us to do very easily.

I stayed at Hotel des Arts only one night, but I arrived early in the morning and met a friendly woman at the front desk who offered to keep my luggage secure while I attended my conference, etc. The hotel was a quick walk from BART and in a great spot for me to get around to the places I wanted to see.
