The location is great - across the
street
from the entrance to Chinatown - and the staff is friendly, but we ended up paying the same as we would have for a 'real' hotel room.

I am not sure if we were just unlucky but there seemed to be a lot of noise just from other rooms (no
street
noise) - it was almost like being at boarding school - you could hear every conversation.

It's a small hotel, bit like an upmarket hostel and the location was brilliant, Bush
Street
is a 5 minute walk from Union Square where all the shops and tram stops are.

When we got the room key and saw that the room was right there in the lobby area, facing the

As one toils up Bush
Street
from Market
Street
, the entrance is easily missed as it is nothing more than a narrow door.

We had no problem locating the hotel and the location can't be beat--Chinatown right across the
street
, nightlife practically right outside the window.
