1. We saw people sleeping in doorways, a cup of feces on the sidewalk outside the hotel, a man begging for money way too close to the 7-11 doors for my comfort and one dude that came out of the darkness and tried to get us to give a donation to some organization at 10pm.

8. I did a lot of research into hotels that would suit a family in San Francisco (as most hotels do not have family rooms and you have to purchase 2 rooms) and overall I think this one was the best value for money - and we pretty much knew what we were going to get.
