1. It was very clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions on restaurants and transportation.

6. If you go out the front door and walk directly left a mile or so, you find your self going through great shopping, high finance business area and great restaurants.

7. It's near great affordable hole-in-the-wall restaurants (Dottie's, Shalimar, Chutney), 3 blocks from the cable car, 7 blocks from BART, and buses running past the hotel or a main line 7 blocks away.

8. Geary Street on the left of the hotel (after a block) is nice, there are many restaurants and shops.
