1. The view from the cable cars are amazing especially if you hang off the side.

2. Plus, i think the way the hotel is positioned there really isnt a 'good' view from the hotel- you can not see the Golden Gate bridge from here.

3. The hotel is next to a Subway (the sandwich chain) & a parking garage - which also ended up being our not so great view.

4. This hotel has a fantastic location , just a short distance from a seaside with a magnificent view over San Franciso Brigde and Alcatraz, 8 mins walk to the famous Pier 39 or 3 mins walk to THAT tram first stop.

7. Ate at Tait`s for some clam chowder and fries, Boudin`s restaurant for wonderful food in a nice setting, McCormick and Kuleto`s (beautiful views), Cioppino`s, and Scoma`s.
