2. Fantastic displays, fun for kids to explore the ships, and their Visitor's Center across the street does an amazing job of immersing you in the history SF wharf life.

3. Just up the street is a Joanie's which is a great place for breakfast with killer pancakes.

4. Our room was facing the street and we were woken up by street cleaning(apparently street cleaning happens Tuesday and Thursdays between 2am-6am) and garbage collections so if you are going to book here in the week ask for a room away from the street.

7. The noise level was OK - tended to quiet down by about 11 p.m. I asked for a room that was above the street, and was on the 3rd floor - out of 4 - so it was OK.

8. It was an eaasy walkt to the pier 39, fishermans wharf, and the trolley/street cars as well as the cable cars.

10. The cable cars are $6 per ride and the street cars are $2 per ride but if you buy a 1, 3, or 7 day pass it will cover you for unlimited rides on not only the trolley cars but also the buses.
