2. From our gracious greeting by the doorman (after an ill-considered walk UP Nob Hill) to the bellman offering us a complimentary pot of tea, our introduction to the Huntington was wonderful.

5. The hotel is in a good position to Union Square however its roughly a $10 taxi ride to Fishermans Wharf and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle on weekdays between 10am & 4pm but only will drop you around 1-2 miles distance within the hotel.

We were given a free upgrade to a room which i imagine to be one of the best in the hotel overlooking nob hill with sea views and as soon as arrived to our room there was a knock on the door and a beautiful tray was presented to us of a bottle of complimentary champagne, a welcome letter from the manager congratulating us on our marraige and a red rose for me, this was the only hotel who acknowedged our honeymoon during our entire stay in the US (we stayed in 6 other hotels two of which were 5*), I was over the moon.
