1. had we not been searching for a pool I doubt we'd have chosen this hotel, as for the same money we could have got more luxury.

2. I feel if I'm paying a good amount of money to stay somewhere, I feel I shouldn't have to be incovenienced to have to completely exit the hotel and go out onto the street in the middle of the night for a smoke.

4. The bell captain made money out of calling particular cab drivers, even though it meant we waited 20 minutes for his cabbie friend to arrive and the two different gentlement on the tour desk found it very hard to crack a smile or put any effort into our requests for help.

5. We generally like to be self-sufficient in an attempt to save some money (ie: I don't like to have a bell man carry my luggage for a fee when I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself for free).

6. The only downside to San Francisco is the large number of homeless people in the vicinity of all the poular hotels begging for money.
