1. The weather was so wonderful that we walked to the theater in North Beach, took a 6.00 cab ride back after a wonderful dinner in North Beach.

7. The Handlery Hotel is located literally a few minutes walk from the Powell St Cable car turnaround so you can get to the wharf quickly and scenically or just about anywhere really if you fancy dinner in another area of the city.

8. The main road nearby, Powell, has too many eating places to list, though Cafe Bellini deserves a special mention for its great breakfasts and dinners, which are very reasonably priced.
