1. We really didn't need the car while staying here because a lot is within walking distance or you could use a taxi or public transportation.

2. The location is absolutely fantastic, about ten minutes walk (uphill) from BART, twenty minutes or so from Chinatown, and near Market Street, Union Square, and the start of the Cablecar line.

3. Went to Fino for our complimentary glass of wine and ended up staying for supper -- we had ceasar salads and pasta, along with dessert and cappucino -- very nice, casual but elegant dining, and then it was a short walk upstairs to our room.

4. Less than 5 minute walk to union square, and good links to all the buses and trams etc. And for any veggies, it's super close to Millenium.

6. The location is great - a 5 min walk to Union Square and the Cable Car stops (if you're in San Fran for a few days, it's a good idea to get a Muni pass so you can ride on the cable cars - and buses - as much as you like.

7. It was within walking distance of the Union Square shopping as well as the hop on hop off tour bus' went right past it so if you pay for a weekend pass you just have to catch the bus at union square and ride it down to the wharf or Golden Gate Park.

The staff were amazing and helpful, the building was really cool and filled with such history, the rooms were on the small side (but myself and my boyfriend had no problems with the size), the location is unbeatable (within walking distance to so much) and if you get a transit passport from the MUNI booth on Market, you'll have no problems getting anywhere in the city.

9. What I like about the Andrews the most is that the price is somewhere around $139 depending on the room that you pick and it is located within walking distance to Chinatown, North Beach of even Fishermans wharf if you are in decent shape.
